Clicking a client's event on the dashboard opens the **per-event view** — the one place
to manage that event. It's the same portal the couple sees, plus DJ controls.

## What's on it

- The event header (title, date, venue).
- The **Open Items** checklist with live, derived completion (see
  [Checklists & forms](/checklist-and-forms)).
- Quick access to the contract, payments, and planning form for the event.

## Managing the checklist inline

As a DJ you manage the checklist right here — no separate admin screen:

- **Add** a custom item for this event.
- **Delete** an item you don't need.
- **Override** a bound item (mark it done with a note) when the task happened off-platform.

Progress updates immediately, and the dashboard's per-client progress bar reflects it.

## Sharing with the couple

The couple reaches the same event through their portal and sees their checklist and forms.
When they complete a task, the bound item turns green for both of you.
